B&Z Time Mover® Technology
For almost 30 years, TIME MOVER® watch winder technology has set the benchmark in the industry. Developed between 1995 and 1998 in a pioneering R&D project, it was among the very first technologies to establish the entirely new category of private watch winders that passionate collectors had long awaited.
Since then, the specifically developed motor and intelligent software have been continuously refined to reach the highest possible quality level. In 2007, the second generation of TIME MOVER® technology was introduced, featuring a newly developed drive designed for decades of reliable operation as well as a state‑of‑the‑art control unit with LED display. These advancements paved the way for ultra‑quiet operation and individually programmable settings for a wide range of watch models, supported by access to a dedicated database with precise parameters. Almost two decades later, in 2024, the third generation marked another milestone: a redesigned display for advanced usability and the introduction of an innovative deep sleep mode, reaffirming the ongoing commitment to technological excellence and innovation.
Regular durability tests in German high-tech laboratory are thoroughly executed and lead to the result of an average theoretical lifespan of 30 years for the patented Time Mover® technology if it is used correctly under the proposed conditions.
